Mangalorians are very much different from Kannadigas . Iam speaking from my experience because i spent almost 4 years in north karnataka due to my job responsibilities. Previously while going to college i was just thinking that what kind of heroins do some the film makers hire ? Neither they have talent nor they have beauty ,some of thr random girls roaming around outside is far more better then thsese heroins .

but after i joined my duty in north karnataka my perception changed. Though i saw significant amount of girls who are pretty and beutiful ,but comaritively they are pretty less in numbers when compared with mangalorean girls. Iam not racist iam just speaking the truth what i saw and experienced through my eyes.

Though you cant define prettyness of beauty just by judgding upon fair complexion, There are other factors also matters the most while comparing mangalorean girls with other girls. they are :-

1. Food habits

they eat lot of sea food. Sardines( bhutai) is found plenty in mangalore coast and its very good for health. They eat plenty of vegetables too.

2.Parental suppport & upbringing

They are very cultured people and their parents take care of their child very nicely give them enough freedom so that they can achieve anything what they want from their life.

3.Freedom in the society

Mangalorean culture not force any young people to be get married as soon as they complete 18 year or college. They have enough freedom to choose their higher education and career path.Thats why most of the mangalorean girls getting good names in many film industries like bollywood kollywood and tollywood. Most of the girls are very confident while facing the society probelms.

4.Aliyakattu system 

This is the unique cultural identity mangaloreans have. Lineage here followed by female member in the family not from the male members unlike other regions. the so called inheritence decided by female gotra system. So patriarchy doesnt exist much in the society.

5.Fair complexion 

Native Mangalorean girls are very beautiful compared to other cities in karnataka. They have light complexion. The girls who are having darker complexion in this region also looks very much attractive .
